Educational Outcomes for Students do not Improve

When the teacher does not schedule parent classroom visits, educational outcomes for students do not improve.

The Problem is Compounded

  • Student outcomes do not improve.
  • Student outcomes vary widely depending on the expertise of the teacher.
  • Students do not have expectations set for them, so they start to disengage from learning.
  • Students also become complacent and do not strive for mastery as this has not been modelled for them.
  • Students cannot achieve mastery or catch up.
  • Students develop gaps in their understanding and need remediation.
  • Students do not make standard progress so fall behind.
  • Student mastery data stays the same or declines as issues related to effective teaching are compounded.
  • Students behaving in an inappropriate manner increases.
