What Happens When Practice Set Targets and Action is not Delivered with Fidelity

When a team member does not practise setting targets and actions with fidelity, they are not supporting the improvement of the school and student outcomes, student welfare and behaviour as well as community engagement and school culture. 

The Problem is Compounded  

  • Principals are not setting a SIP and are not providing support to their teaching team which results in the team not knowing how to improve to maximise educational outcomes for students. 
  • Principals do not analyse data to provide feedback and coaching. 
  • Professional conversations are not conducted to verify the effectiveness of the improvement activities. 
  • The teaching team is not provided with solutions to implementation problems and are unaware of what areas of their practice need to be addressed or how they are being successful.
