Oliver has been given his target technique to practise during his last coaching session based off his latest observation. He is scheduled to observe the instruction coach demonstrate the technique of ‘think-pair-share’ during his reading timetable. His instruction coach Mia begins by putting the students in pairs. As Mia was asking the students a question, a fire alarm went off. Oliver, Mia and all the students filed out of the classroom to the designated area. Because Oliver did not observe the demonstration, he is unfamiliar with the technique to implement into his lesson.
