Vision and mission

A strong vision and mission bring common understanding among the school team, students, parents and community.

The vision is concise and easy to recall. The mission is longer and explanatory.

The vision and mission reflect the values and beliefs of the school. They are developed with the school team and community, so they reflect community values.

“An effective vision communicates to students and parents where the school is heading and why they should participate in the journey”. (Gabriel and Farmer, 2009)
