High 5 Strategy Implementation

Step 1:

Instruction Coach Sean is collaborating with Principal Lucy to implement a school-wide initiative aimed at fostering positive behaviour and student engagement.

Sean identifies the need to tailor the High 5 strategy to the unique needs of the students in the school. He reviews individual student profiles, considering their behavioural patterns, learning styles and specific challenges. The goal is to create a customised plan that maximises the impact of the strategy for each student.

Step 2:

Working closely with Lucy and the community coach, Sean implements the mapped case management targets for students. He ensures that the High 5 strategy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, but rather a personalised intervention that addresses the diverse needs of the student body.

Step 4:

Recognising the success of the tailored High 5 strategy, Sean commits to ongoing adjustments and refinements based on continuous monitoring. He shares the positive outcomes with the teaching staff, emphasising the importance of flexibility and customisation in implementing school-wide initiatives. Sean aims to embed this approach in future strategies for continuous improvement.

Step 3:

Over the following weeks, Sean monitors the effectiveness of the High 5 strategy by tracking student behaviour and engagement metrics. He analyses data on improved student interactions, decreased disruptions and increased participation in extracurricular activities – all indicators of a positive impact.
