The school team is not engaging with community.

The problem is compounded.

The school team:

• does not promote improvements to the school environment.  
• does not demonstrate positive high expectations strategies or encourage parents to reinforce them at home. 
• does not involve parents in problem solving discussions about their child’s learning. 
• does not create opportunities for the school to engage with the community and community leaders. 
• does not share example of their child’s work to provide example of their growth. 
• does not share with parents highlights of achievements and challenges of their child that require the parent’s attention.
