Expressive Writing 1–2 Programs Features
Expressive Writing 1–2 programs follow sequential instructions that take students from basic sentence and paragraph-writing skills to the advanced skills of writing and editing stories. The program features that are critical to the program’s success are outlined below.

- Direct teaching of writing and editing skills.
- Ongoing skill development tracks that resolve common writing issues faced by students.
- Daily practise in sentence and paragraph writing.
- Picture analysis to help writing.
- Passage writing and editing activities.
- Four placement options to meet specific learning needs.
- Cumulative Check System for progress evaluation and workload reduction.
- In-program Mastery Tests and Black Line Mastery (BLMs) for progress monitoring and skill reinforcement.
