Grouping Students
After placement tests are administered and scored, teachers begin grouping students based on results. Groups are created as homogeneous as possible. For example, students placing at CMC-C Lesson 1 are placed in a group together, and students placing at CMC-C Lesson 11 are placed in a group together. If it is not possible to have two different groups, an alternative is to place all students at Lesson 1. It is not recommended to place students at Lesson 11 if they did not score high enough to place there.
