The Impact of Using Pre-Correcting

Step 2: Trisha addresses this potential issue with her students. ‘Today, the corridor is going to be more crowded than usual. We must remember to keep to the left to move with the other students. There will be two other classes in the corridors while we are travelling. To move safely, we need to walk in a straight, single-file line with our arms by our sides.’

Step 4: Right before entering the corridor, Trisha reminds her students of the expectations. They successfully follow her directions and make it to their destination promptly and safely.

Step 3. Trisha takes her students into the corridor to practice this before being expected to do so later in the day. In doing this, Trisha can spot issues that arise and address them quickly with the group.
