Does Not Adequately Practice Supporting Behaviour Interventions
If a new teacher does not have the opportunity to learn from a more experienced team member, they may not learn the correct process to support behaviour interventions. As a result, students may not get the behaviour support they may need.
The Problem is Compounded
A less experienced team member:
- does not get the support of a more experienced team member to practise or does not practise at all
- does not understand the purpose or structure of the practice
- is unfamiliar with the techniques and practices so does not embed the practice to fidelity or at all.
