Address Identified Behaviours
As part of the school wide behaviour plan, minor and major inappropriate student behaviours are identified and agreed upon. When teachers observe any of these behaviours happening, they address them immediately, using planned responses. This sends message to students that all inappropriate behaviours have consistent and logical consequences.
Teachers:
- participate in school team planning related to establishing or updating the school behaviour plan

- know which student behaviours are inappropriate, according to the agreed upon school behaviour plan
- recognise which inappropriate behaviours are minor and which are considered major
- use planned responses and consequences for all identified behaviours.
