Behaviour Plans Lead to More Productive Learning Environments

Step 2: A behaviour plan was put into place for Kyle. The behaviour plan laid out a simple procedure for Maya to follow when Kyle presented challenging behaviours. The procedure occupied much less of Maya’s time and less instruction time was interrupted.

Step 4: Overall, the behaviour plan made the entire learning environment more peaceful and conducive to learning for everyone involved.

Step 3: The behaviour plan helped Kyle to develop coping strategies for his behavioural challenges. He was not missing out on as much instruction time as he was before. The rest of the students experienced fewer interruptions to their learning.
