Master Teaching Pathway Assessments

Professional learning is provided through the Mastery Teaching Pathway and is typically completed online. All MTP modules require on-the-job practice and practical assessments.  

Each module assessment tests a discrete set of skills and knowledge. All assessments are based on artefacts or cited evidence throughout the lesson.

Tests  

These are the check and test your understanding quizzes that participants complete throughout the module lessons.

Mastery Assessment 

The Mastery Assessment assesses whether the participant has sufficiently practised and so can demonstrate that they can deliver the techniques, practices and activities with fidelity or mastery as required by their role. 

The Mastery Assessment is completed in the classroom while the teacher is teaching one of their student groups. The assessment is recorded and a trained assessor completes the assessment score sheet. When this is passed, the participant receives a certificate of mastery.
