What Happens When Demonstrating Mastery to Teaching Team is Delivered with Fidelity
Demonstrate Mastery to Teaching Team
Demonstrate to the teacher and teaching assistant how to deliver a lesson to mastery so that they can learn how to improve their effective teaching from observation.

What It Achieves
When instruction coaches demonstrate techniques and practices to mastery to the teaching team, they are modelling techniques to ensure the teaching team are continuously improving practice.
They are Increasing the ability of teachers and teaching assistants to master their teaching techniques and increase the overall performance of the school through better teaching practice to ensure student growth.
More Detail
An instruction coach observes teaching, collects data and then uses the data to focus on a teaching technique that needs mastery. The instruction coach demonstrates techniques which need to be mastered and uses technology to record the demonstration, so that teachers and teaching assistants can use it for guidance when practising. Teachers and teaching assistants are encouraged to practise the delivery with another teaching team member who has already mastered that practice or watch a recorded demonstration, before delivering it in the classroom.
