What Happens When Demonstrating Mastery to Teaching Team is not Delivered with Fidelity
When the instruction coach does not demonstrate mastery to the teaching team with fidelity, the teacher cannot observe teaching techniques and practices done the correct way. The teacher does not feel supported in their teaching journey and student performance will not strengthen.
The Problem is Compounded
- The teacher does not observe mastery teaching techniques by the instruction coach.
- The teacher cannot practise techniques and reflect on their own instruction.
- Teachers do not feel supported by the instruction coach and lack confidence in their teaching techniques.
