Jackie Gets Student Report Card

Jackie, the parent of Ryan, is sitting in class during an open classroom visit. She is observing her son interact with the teacher and other students. She sits down with her son’s teacher, Carmen, to discuss her child’s progress. Carmen gives Jackie a copy of Ryan’s report card. She explains what areas he is achieving in and other areas that he needs help. Carmen also gives Jackie some suggestions on ways she can participate and support his learning at home. Jackie leaves the meeting feeling proud and confident that she can assist her son.
