Instruction coach, Georgia, schedules weekly lesson practices for the teaching team but the time is frequently reassigned to conduct a staff meeting or unrelated matters. There are some members of the teaching team who have not attended any lesson practices throughout the entire term. When she conducts classroom observations, Georgia notes that there is little improvement in their practice. It is not surprising that when Georgia reviews the student mastery data each week, she finds that there is also little improvement in the data.
