Empowers Students to Gain Confidence in Their Learning

When teachers remediate and retest effectively, students are able to show they have mastered the content that has been tested. This builds self-confidence in their learning capabilities.

How it works

When students do not pass the mastery test or checkout on the first try, they are remediated on the content and retested so they have another chance to show their mastery. Students are not penalised for not passing on the first try. Instead, they are remediated to give them a lift in their learning and then retested to show they have mastered the skill or content.

When students are remediated and retested it provides students with evidence that they are learning and progressing in the program. This builds self-confidence in their learning capabilities.
