Students are Engaged and Participating in Lessons

When students know that teachers will address and correct errors effectively, they feel confident to take risks in learning. And, when students incorporate specific feedback and error correction effectively, they experience growth and mastery of skills and can articulate how they are progressing, including the errors that they have addressed and corrected.

How it works:

  • Students know what to do, how to do it and when they should do it.
  • Students have enough opportunity to master skills.
  • Students are engaged in learning and behaviour problems are minimised.
  • Students are confident learners who derive a sense of security from their teacher.
  • Students achieve mastery of the content and progress at the expected standard.
