The Teacher does not Make Informed Decisions About Student Learning

Teacher, Kylie, does not stop to address group errors. She continues through lessons with minimal monitoring and does not stop to reteach. After a lesson, she knows that some students did not master the content but cannot explain exactly who or how. When she starts teaching the next days’ lesson, she is not able to move forward because students cannot demonstrate the previous day’s skill. She also notices that a few students are making the same error over and over and she can’t quite figure out why.
