Students are Not Engaged and Participating

When positive motivation strategies are not used effectively, students do not know what to do or how to make progress. They cannot see the progress they have made on goals. The importance of each lesson is not reinforced, so students do not feel that they need to engage or participate.

The Problem is Compounded

  • Levels of student interaction and active participation in their learning drops.
  • Students start to become disengaged from the lesson and off-task.
  • Some students distract other students and disrupt learning.
  • The amount and quality of learning starts to diminish. In fact, some students are not learning at all.
