Students Behave Appropriately

Teacher, Sean, begins his maths lesson by reminding students of their STAR rules. The students know that they are to sit up tall, talk big, answer on signal and respect others. Sean has projected a series of mathematical equations on the board. He has taught and practised the process of responding to signals when providing answers as a group. His students know what is expected. When Sean’s students respond, they do so appropriately. They are all fully engaged, focused and respectful.
