Improved Educational Outcomes for Students

The teacher shares student data with parents because it improves educational outcomes by having students strive for mastery and be motivated to make improvements. Educational outcomes improve because:

  • Students have expectations set for them and are engaged in learning.
  • Students are conscientious and strive for mastery.
  • Students achieve mastery and make standard or catch-up growth.
  • Students know the expectations and behave in an appropriate manner.
  • Students understand the lesson content and can make lesson progress.
  • When the teaching team is confident in their delivery of effective teaching, techniques and practices, they can teach for the full timetabled period, complete lessons in standard time, meet standard lesson progress rate and achieve mastery with their students.
