Using Individual Turns Incorrectly 

When teachers do not use the individual turns process effectively, students lose focus and disengage.  

The Problem is Compounded 

When a student’s name is called first, this cues the other students that they do not need to pay attention to the task or answer. Students are unable to review lesson concepts in a format that allows for individual success. Poor student behaviour may rise as students are not focusing on the lesson.
