What Happens When Technique is Delivered with Fidelity

Effective teaching necessitates teachers preparing the classroom for learning for each lesson in advance so that students have all required materials for the lesson so they can complete all parts of the lesson without interruption.

When the teacher ensures that all students have the required materials for the lesson, they can maximise teaching and learning time. Valuable time is not lost locating misplaced materials or replacing lost materials. The teacher can complete all parts of the lesson, ensure that students are firm in their understanding and provide time for students to practise and consolidate their skills. Students can make standard growth and potentially catch up.
