Ensure That Students Have Required Materials

Teacher Andrew is teaching his Year 5 science class about cells. Andrew has established the expectation that all students are to enter the room, take out their writing materials, individual whiteboards, markers and erasers, and be seated at their desk. Students put their equipment on their desk as instructed by Andrew. Andrew scans the class to see that all students have the required materials. The class follows the routine that Andrew has in place for the collection and distribution of student workbooks. All students have their workbooks and are ready to learn.
