Mastery test

The teacher administers the Oz-e-maths mastery test at the end of each Oz-e-maths lesson.

The mastery test assesses the skills and concepts taught in the Oz-e-maths lessons only.

Oz-e-maths mastery tests

Oz-e-maths mastery tests are designed to:

  • capture evidence of student mastery of the skills and concepts taught in the lesson
  • identify the skills and concepts that require revision via the remediation exercises listed in the teacher guide.

Student success is ascertained by:

  • students achieving mastery of the skills and concepts delivered in Oz-e-maths lessons
  • improving on current NAPLAN numeracy results.
