Correction tips

Teachers practise the correction procedure until it becomes automatic. Error correction is a seamless part of the lesson.

Choral response corrections are presented to the group. The individual student making the error is never singled out. The correction procedures give the group repeated practice.

All types of error correction used in effective teaching have two features in common: they are direct and immediate.
