Allows Students to Actively Engage in the Lesson
Jade is teaching a maths class. The students are learning about addition. Jade instructs the students as a group, modelling how to perform the function on the whiteboard. They complete some examples together as a class. Jane asks a question and signals for students to write their answer on their whiteboard and flip it to hide their answer. She signals for students to chin it. Her students hold their whiteboard under their chin to show their answer. Jade checks students answers for accuracy. They repeat this process for the remaining examples. Jade provides corrective feedback as required.
