Script success

This means teachers can use this time to practise their delivery.

Practice is more than reading over the script. The best way to practice is with a partner who plays the part of the student. If that is not possible, practise aloud and record yourself on a computer so you can listen to yourself.

Teachers need to be familiar enough with the script to be able to make frequent eye contact with students and know which words require pause and punch.

Deliver the script in a normal speaking tine, but sometimes emphasise words through pause and punch to draw attention to the important points.
