How to Assess School Context
The principal assesses school context by:
- meeting with the leadership team, teaching team and community to build a shared understanding of the school context and current environment
- helping to build a shared understanding of students’ home life and impacts on students’ attendance, school readiness and wellbeing.
- reinforcing the need for a positive high-expectations learning culture
- capturing the aspirations that the community have for their children’s education.
