RMSE-LA 3 students check their passages
On the first day of a lesson, students in RMSE-LA 3 check their passages with the checks that appeared in the writing assignment.
These checks are not the same lesson to lesson and there are only four checks per lesson. The checks are very general near the end of the program.
1. The teacher circulates among the students and looks at their papers as students check their work.
If they see a sentence that has not been corrected, they give general information about the problem.
2. They continue circulating as the students finds the problem and corrects it.
The teacher returns to the student to see if they found the problem if time permits.
3. The teacher tells students who have not completed their paragraph to make a line in the margin to show how much they have written.
They check only what they have written. After they have finished writing the teacher corrects the remainder of the passage.
