Not Administering Program Assessments When Required
Hazel’s language group has completed Lessons forty-one through fifty over the past week and a half. Hazel is trying to get through lessons and forgets that the Reading Mastery Signature Edition, Language Arts program for Year 1 has the assessments in the Language Assessment Handbook. She does not give the assessment required at Lesson fifty and moves on to Lesson fifty-one. Hazel continues moving through the lessons and is noticing she is having to correct more errors than usual with her students. She decides to reteach a few lessons to see if that will help. As she is filling out her data sheet, she notices that she forgot to give the mastery test at Lesson fifty.
