Enabling Students to Achieve Standard

Growth

The impact

Lessons are designed to maximise student growth. When lessons are completed in standard time, students can master the content, achieve the standard growth and fill gaps in their understanding.

How it works

Each program standard states content to be taught, in what time and what learning outcomes will be achieved. Standards are set based on trials of hundreds of classrooms of diverse learners.
All lesson content is sequenced correctly and has the appropriate amount of repetition.

Teachers add repetitions and reteach exercises as required when students are not at mastery. It is not only important to teach the whole lesson but also ensure that students are mastering the material.

When the lesson is completed in standard time, students can achieve mastery of the content and progress at the expected rate.
