Oz-e-maths Student Assessment

Oz-e-maths student assessment consists of independent practice and mastery tests at the end of each lesson.

Each Oz-e-maths lesson contains four independent practice exercises. The teacher records a score for each independent practice. These data inform the teacher whether the students are ready to progress to the next exercise or if the previous exercises need to be retaught.

At the end of the lesson, a total score is recorded for the independent practice. Students need to achieve a score of eighty-five per cent or more on their independent work to have achieved mastery of the lesson concept.
