Oz-e-Maths PowerPoint Lessons and Student Workbook

The Oz-e-Math program contains Student Workbooks and PowerPoint lessons.

Student Workbooks match the lesson content and contain tasks for students to work through, including Guided Practice and Independent Practice.

  • Guided Practice involves interactive questioning and continuous feedback to ensure students understand and continue to develop at an appropriate pace.
  • Independent Practice exercises are completed by students autonomously right after the lesson. Each lesson includes four independent practice exercises, completed in the Student Workbook to ensure all students are moving towards mastery of the concept or skill.

All lessons for Foundation to Year 6 are presented in PowerPoint slides. They feature the same student-stimulus material presented in the Teaching Guide and Student Workbook.

  • Each PowerPoint lesson is composed of several exercises, each with a clear learning objective. The exercises progressively increase in complexity, covering all the skills outlined in the descriptors.
