Stop sounds

The continuous sounds are er, f, ing, I,m, n, ol, or, qu, r, s, sh, th, v, w, wh, x, y, z, and the long and short vowels a, e, I, o and u.

The teacher’s script shows a sound written three times, ‘mmm’, as a reminder that the sound is continuous and held for two to three seconds.

Continuous sounds are held and not distorted.
