Participants will:

• Understand the rationale for Corrective Reading Decoding B2 and Corrective Decoding C and describe materials, placement testing, grouping and use of positive praise.
• Learn how to teach Corrective Reading Decoding B2 and Corrective Decoding C and the progression of learning through each course.
• Understand potential learning problems and how to correct specific mistakes.
• Learn how to conduct placement tests, mastery tests and checkouts in Corrective Reading Decoding B2 and Corrective Decoding C and how to record assessment data.

Assessment

• Test: Knowledge and skills taught in the lessons.

Certification

Participants are eligible for certification based on attendance and completion of assessment requirements for each module.
