The teachers and teaching assistants collaborate in the classroom domain to ensure the cycles are embedded in their classroom every day.

A teacher embeds the cycles of school practice by:

engaging in professional learning and development
using data to assess student progress and improve their practice
collaborating with their peers via lesson practice and observations
opening their classroom to visits from leaders, peers and families.

A teaching assistant embeds the cycles of school practice by:

prioritising their professional learning and development
forming a strong collaborative partnership with their classroom’s teacher
engaging in lesson practice and peer observations
participating in professional conversations on improvement actions.

Both teachers and teaching assistants place their highest priority on supporting and delivering effective teaching to accelerate student progress to mastery.
