The Principal and Data

The principal develops and monitors the School Improvement Plan, utilising data to ensure consistency across the school. They embed routines for collecting, analysing and actioning student progress and program delivery data, modelling a sense of urgency and a relentless pursuit of a team approach required to resolve issues that impede students’ success.

The principal creates opportunities to celebrate academic achievement and publicly recognise teacher and student successes. This is done by leading and facilitating data reviews, promoting data visibility on data walls, and reporting and celebrating improvement with the community.
