Believe in the potential of every student

Principals in positive high-expectations schools believe in the potential of every student, no matter their background or circumstance.

They direct the school team in developing the potential of all students and understand that each team member has a role to play and put practices into place that support student progress. The principal and the coach set the tone for everyone on the school team to approach student behaviour and pro-social skills.

Leading positive high-expectations begins with living positive high-expectations in all interactions. School leaders show their belief in the potential of every student through modelling what they expect from students in their everyday actions.
