Assessment in Lessons

The teacher monitors student success in many of the same ways as in effective-teaching lessons and Direct Instruction lessons.

Basically, the teacher checks for understanding throughout the lesson, corrects independent work and records the results.

There are often also formative and summative assessments in both.
