The Teaching Team do Not Work
Collaboratively
Teachers Lewis and Ethan are allocated to work together during weekly lesson practise. Both teachers understand the importance of preparing for the upcoming lessons but decide they will read over the lesson script by themselves before each lesson. Instead of practising properly, they go through the motions and discuss topics that are unrelated to their professional practice. While both Lewis and Ethan practise, they are not working collaboratively to improve their practice or learning from one another. They do not have access to authentic feedback from their peers.
