What Happens when Teaching Team does
not Participates in Coaching with Fidelity
When the teaching team do not participate in coaching, they do not work collaboratively with the instruction coach to improve their professional practice. They may be unaware of how to review the data to identify anomalies and the areas of their practice that need further development. The teaching team may be unable to identify the improvement activities they should take or how to assess their efficacy. Additionally, they do not have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers, practise their delivery or build confidence in their ability to teach students to mastery.

What Happens
The Problem is compounded
When the teaching team do not participate in coaching, they do not improve their ability to deliver effective teaching techniques and practices. They are not collaborating with the leadership team to build capability across the school or demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement. As a result, their ability to maximise the educational outcomes for students is diminished.
