Addressing Inappropriate Behaviours

Step 2: Georgia strives to consistently respond to inappropriate behaviours in her classroom. She uses a variety of corrective responses in the moment to get students attention and redirect them back to their learning, when needed. If poor behaviour continues, she uses agreed upon consequences in a timely manner.

Step 4: Students learning experience is positive. Georgia can complete lessons in the standard time, and students are able to meet their academic targets.

Step 3: Students know what is expected of them in Georgia’s class. They can focus on their learning with minimal interruptions.
