The Practice – Conduct Coaching

Coaches observe and assess student engagement levels and effective teaching practice during lessons. They provide constructive feedback on priority improvements of techniques and practices teachers need to undertake to lift student results.

What It Achieves

By conducting coaching sessions, the teaching team refine their skill and confidence in delivering effective teaching. Providing meaningful feedback of teaching techniques and practices, it assists teachers to increase student engagement, appropriate behaviour and improve student data.

More Detail

Leaders routinely observe student engagement, classroom management and effective teaching. They provide constructive feedback to team members by sharing what they observed worked well, what they feel are the areas for development and what actions need to be taken. The teaching team are committed to applying meaningful feedback on teaching techniques, student attendance and positive high expectation strategies in the classroom to increase student engagement which will improve educational outcomes for students.
