Error Correction Enables Teachers to Track Errors and Respond to Student Mastery

Teacher, Emma, is pointing to sounds during a reading lesson. Some students misidentify a sound. She uses the full correction procedure to provide corrective feedback. Emma says, ‘My turn, … rrrrr. Say it with me … rrrr. All by yourselves.’ Students say ‘rrrr’ correctly.
