Not Using the Full Correction Procedure

When the teacher does not use the full correction procedure, they:

  • do not correct the error immediately or consistently
  • do not model the correct response, ‘My Turn…’
  • skip crucial delivery steps such as remediating errors by using the full correction procedure
  • add additional steps in the correction procedure
  • do not correct signalling errors
  • do not use the appropriate correction for specific errors.
