Scenario – the Review Steps are not Delivered with Fidelity

Scenario – the Review Steps are not Delivered with Fidelity
Step 1: The teaching team is responsible for regularly reviewing student data to assess progress and update individualised plans. However, due to time constraints and competing priorities, the review process is not conducted with fidelity.
Step 2: Without thorough review of student data, the teaching team fails to update student profiles accurately. As a result, individualised plans remain outdated and do not reflect the evolving needs of students.
Step 3: Over time, the lack of attention to the review process takes its toll on the teaching team. They become disheartened by students’ lack of progress, leading to low morale and motivation among staff members. Without updated individualised plans, students continue to struggle to achieve mastery, resulting in gaps in understanding and low academic growth.
Step 4: The absence of effective review processes contributes to a limited understanding of what works in terms of instructional strategies. Without clear insights gained from reviewing student data, the teaching team continues to deliver ineffective strategies, leading to poor academic results and persistent challenges in student achievement.
