Teacher Seeks Support from Instruction Coach
Louis, the teacher, schedules a meeting with the Instruction Coach. His class’s phonics is struggling according to the most recent reading data and report card grades. He needs support for student mastery and his teaching techniques. The instruction coach reviews his data and observes his reading period. He pinpoints the possible issues and then demonstrates how to teach it to mastery. Louis takes what he learns and implements it into his teaching for the next month. He has a follow up meeting with his instruction coach to go over the most recent data from the same phonics skills. Louis has improved his educational outcomes for students in phonics.
